Lakeland Imagery - Photography or Art Body of Work depicting Photographic Walking Holliday in The Lake District influenced by Joe Cornish National Trust Landscape Photographer, Ansel Adams being most famous for Mountain Landscape Black and White Photography, Cooper Heaten (Father & Son Team) being Mountain Climbers and Watercolour Artists of Lakeland Imagery having Studio and Shop based in Grasmere in the Lake District. The concept of This Body of Work was to show the Lake District in all Terrain and Climatic conditions, from Sheep and Cattle in the Lowlands and High Fells to the Farm Cat who very kindly posed for me and the dancing swirling cloud surround the high and low fells in The Langdales, not forgetting imagery on route to Helvellyn via The Surreal, together with Castle Crag's, Slate Mines and the magnificent force of the Waterfalls alternating with the simplicity of the Digitals sporadically surrounding The Rockpool. My concept also attempts to portray the ambiance of all who work in and around The Lake District to manage same in order to maintain The Natural Beauty of The Lake District. Nuts and Bolts - Historic Classic Cars Body of Work depicting the Holistic Ambiance of the Historic Classic Car Race Meeting. The book shows imagery of Owners, Drivers, Enthusiasts, Mechanics, Organisers, Architectural and Engineering excellence together with the interaction of all involved, to achieve a successful Meeting having an excellent time in doing so. This together with Imagery showing Musicians performing on-stage at the Meeting helps, in my opinion, to portray an interval in the visual content of the Meeting, enhancing perceived movement and performance of Musicians, Mechanics Driver and Cars within this Body of Work. Special Care Baby Unit PDH Calendar 2011 On being approached as a Member of Peterborough Photographic Society, to carry out various Photographic Projects within Peterborough District Hospital, whereby, a selection of Work will be chosen as Photographic Archives, due to Peterborough District Hospital Closing. All Departments are being transferred to Edith Cavell on the 20th November 2010. THE END OF AN ERA. I was given permission to work within The Special Care Baby Unit, the result of which was asked if I would design a Calendar for SCBU in order to raise funds for use as is deemed necessary, within the unit itself. I chose to Design a Calendar from my own work from January 2011 to 2014 (over a 3 year period). My Design also incorporates images from Members of Staff at work within Peterborough District Hospital who wished record shots of themselves at work, as some Employees had worked at Peterborough District Hospital for a long period of time and would be sad to leave. All monies from the Sale of Special Care baby Unit will be given to Special Care Baby Unit at Edith Cavell from November 2010. Snow Shoot taken whilst walking with Camera 25 miles downhill in a most beautiful part of Switzerland. I walked/slid through a few white-outs and was saved by Church Spires jutting out of craggy rockscape on the way down. The Church Spires acting as my markers. Not to be recommended by Children or Adults. On route I did meet a few fellow Walkers, not very many. This did happen to be lower down before attempting to take the Train into St. Moritz, however disappointingly, it was far too dark to continue this journey, however there is always a next time. I hope you enjoy looking at the Images in this book. Each One was well thought out, unless I slipped in the snow which did take place near the Tunnel Area through the Cliff Face, but did get a soft landing so that was good. I hope you really enjoy this Photographic Essay. Thank you to Hosts in Switzerland who were great fun to be with, they know who they are. Have a lovely day Julie.
